Central American and Caribbean Republic (Alt-His)

Author's Note: The flag is red white and blue because I've noticed those colors featured quite prominently on many flags in Central America and the Caribbean. [link]

In the Southern Theater of the Pan-American War, the weak armies of the various developing nations in Central America and the Caribbean were easily crushed by the armies of the fascist American Confederate Combine (ACC) in 2026, via mass bombings and use of chemical weapons.

However, the various nations of the area decided to form an underground resistance using their home-turf advantage, hiding in the jungles and assassinating prominent National American Popular Party (NAPP) leaders.

United in their resistance against ACC-NAPP armies the people of Central America and the Caribbean found that they could accomplish a lot more united into one country instead of many smaller countries and tiny island nations. So resistance leaders formed a larger nation called the Central American and Caribbean Republic in 2032.

The CACR encompasses the land from the southern border of Zapatania to the Panama Canal and all of the Caribbean islands except for Cuba.
